Roto Roof Blinds

Insect Screens

Insect or fly screens as they are commonly known are becoming more popular as British summers get hotter and are an ideal application to keeping out those unwanted bugs; they consist of a mesh screen made of fibreglass, polyester, steel or Nylon housed within an aluminium frame. Insect screens can be installed to most windows either onto or within the frame.

Intu & Perfect fit

These systems require no drilling do not use screws and therefore leave no holes.

They are an innovative window treatment for double glazed UPVC windows and doors and work especially well in conservatories.

Their unique design fits neatly onto the window as the blind is set within a frame that is locked into position with push fit brackets that fit between the glass and glazing gasket (foam or rubber strip between the glass and window frame).

The advantages of these systems are that there is little or no gaps between the blind and window frame therefore reducing light show through and increasing privacy, they take up less room than conventional blinds leaving window sills clutter free and they are easily removed for cleaning.

These systems are available in Venetian, Pleated and Roller blinds in an extensive range of colours.

Roof, Skylight and Loft Blinds

Probably the most popular of these are Velux or Roto. Both these manufacturers have their own systems which include Roller, Venetian & Pleated Blinds.

When choosing a Blind for these systems it is important to get the code of the window. This is usually found on a label or tag within the frame itself. This code or reference number denotes the system and window size and is necessary when ordering the correct size blind for that particular window.

Cubical track

Mainly for hospitals and surgeries but can also be used within a bath or shower room.

Tracks are usually made from non corrosive aluminium and can be bent to shape.

These tracks can be fitted in a multiple of ways using side and face fix brackets and hanger rods for ceiling fix.
