Pleated blinds are made from lengths of fabric that work in a concertina fashion and are attached to head and or bottom rails. They can be made as free hanging, operated via a cord to raise or lower the blind with a cord locking system to keep the blind in place when up or down.

They can also be manufactured to a constantly tensioned method which allows the fabric to be adjusted along its length of travel without the need for control cords and are especially ideal for conservatories as they can be made to most window shapes.

Many pleated fabrics feature additional coatings to improve there solar and optical performance and due to their slim design they can be fitted very close to the window which can lessen light seepage.

Pleated blinds are ideal for conservatories or for unusual shaped windows.
